According to Ayurveda, you should not take bath in 2 hours after having your meal. According to Ayurveda, there is a reasonable time to do all the activity. But if the work is done in different time then there is a negative result, such as when you have to get up, what time to have breakfast and when to eat your lunch or dinner. The same is true about the bath. But so many people do not agree with this fact. Some people thing they can take bath whenever they want. According to Ayurveda, the fire element in the body is responsible for digesting food. When you take your meal, the fire element gets activate to digest the food. Even modern medical science says that after eating food our blood accumulates around the stomach which helps in digestion.
But when we take a shower it gets the body to control its temperature. According to Ayurveda, the fire element which was busy in digestion, get diverted to maintain the body temperature that causes slow digestion. And as per modern medical science the blood, helping for digestion, starts flowing toward the skin to maintain body temperature.
